Life Members, Retirees, Friends & Families

Galaxy III will be an opportunity for Association Life Members, Extension Retirees, Friends, and Family Members in Indianapolis !

You must register as a participant for the Galaxy III conference to participate in all of the conference activities, including: 

* Monday night’s Opening Event at the Indiana State Museum

* Tuesday’s general session with keynote speaker Dr. Farrah Gray

* Wednesday’s Ruby Luncheon and Taste of Indiana evening buffet and fundraising auctions

* Thursday evening’s Regional Awards Banquets

* Friday’s closing brunch with Dr. Will Miller as the capnote speaker. 

As a full-time conference registrant, you will also be able to visit the educational exhibits on Tuesday and Wednesday and participate in the various seminars, poster sessions, roundtable discussions and research presentations. Maybe all of these educational offerings are more than you wish to invest your time in and you would prefer to see just a few of the many sights and sounds of the Indianapolis area.  A number of opportunities await you from the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, to the history of Connor Prairie, to the educational wonders at the Indianapolis Children's Museum.  Perhaps you prefer the excitement of the NCAA Hall of Champions, or the beautiful gardens of White River Park, or the thrill of a dolphin show at the Indy Zoo.  These sites are within walking distance or a very short travel via public transportation or private vehicle for you to enjoy.

For those interested in visiting the local sites via self-directed tours, there will be a Family & Friends networking opportunity on Monday, September 15, from 4:00-5:00 P.M. in the Hyatt. You will meet with a representative of the Indy Convention & Visitors Association and connect with other family and friends with similar interests.

For Retirees and association Life Members, you are invited to an orientation on Monday, September 15, in the Hyatt Hotel, from 4:00 - 5:00 P.M.  You, too, can connect with others who share similar interests to yours as you participate in the Galaxy III conference.  Retirees and Life Members will have additional opportunities to meet as a group throughout the week (check the Galaxy Schedule for further details).   A track of educational sessions for Life Members will be held in the Hyatt Hotel.
