Drive Rite: Keys to Smart Driving is a comprehensive statewide initiative to promote driver's education and safe teen driving. The Drive Rite program uses a reality-based approach, coupled with educational modules that emphasize cognitive-behavioral aspects of driver's education to promote learning and skill enhancement. The Drive Rite program supports parent involvement in driver's education, including parent involvement in educational workshops, and parents as instructors leading their youth's logged driving time. Teens and parents work together to support the hands-on practical experience needed to build knowledge and skills to deal with real driving-related situations. Drive Rite: Keys to Smart Driving is an initiative of the Purdue Extension Service, Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana - supporting Indiana youths, families, and communities.
